President Sadyr Japarov announced at a national meeting that more than 300 participants of organized criminal groups have been held accountable.

He noted that the damage caused to the state has been compensated in the amount of over 38 billion soms.

“We have not only destroyed individual criminal groups but also dismantled the system that has facilitated shadow influence for decades. The rule of law has been restored,” the president added.

Sadyr Japarov emphasized that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has undergone significant digital transformation. Modern surveillance systems have been installed across the country, providing round-the-clock monitoring.
“As a result, registered crimes have decreased by 73 percent. In areas equipped with cameras, the number of serious offenses has decreased by 68 percent. All these measures are aimed at enhancing safety on the streets, ensuring peace for families, and giving parents confidence in their children's future,” he noted.

The president also added that “statements about building a strong state should not be perceived as empty words.”

“This is about how we protect borders, ensure justice, punish criminals, and guarantee the safety of every citizen. Corruption has undermined state institutions for decades, weakened public trust, and created significant obstacles to economic development. We have taken decisive measures to eliminate this deep and complex ailment,” he said.

As part of anti-corruption initiatives, thousands of real estate properties have been returned to the state. 959 properties have been transferred to state and municipal authorities, and over 3.3 thousand hectares of agricultural land have returned to the balance of local self-government bodies,” concluded Sadyr Japarov.
