Among the proposed candidates:
- Murad Dzhumagulov — a retiree awarded the title of "Honored Worker of the KR";
- Toktosun Sultanov — municipal advisor of the III degree, "Honored Employee of the Social Fund of the KR," deputy of the XXVIII convocation of the BGC, and former deputy chairman of the city council;
- Saidulla Nyshanov — holder of the "Dank" medal, former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the III, V, and VI convocations, activist;
- Anarbek Usenkanov — "Honored Worker of Physical Education and Sports of the KR," coach of the Olympic reserve "Taymanbas";
- Bakyt Borkoev — professor at KTU "Manas," "Honored Worker of Education of the KR";
- Chinarbek Izabekov — "Honored Coach of the KR in Women's Wrestling," master of sports among veterans;
- Ibrahim Junusov — "People's Artist of the KR," former deputy of the Zhogorku Kenesh, professor;
- Kulsara Turusbekova — "Honored Doctor of the KR";
- Jipar Kerimbaeva — "Honored Worker of Local Self-Government of the KR," retiree;
- Almambet Matubraimov — holder of the "Manas" Order of the III degree, chairman of the Assembly of People's Representatives in 1995;
- Artykpai Suyundukov — "People's Artist of the KR";
- Samad Kurmankulov — laureate of the "Erdik" medal, retiree from the internal affairs bodies.
The city authorities also reported that residents can express their opinions and suggestions regarding the proposed list of candidates.
