The total number of published educational materials in the country has exceeded 4 million copies.
Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Jusupbekova reported at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Science and Education about the allocation of 856 million 548 thousand soms for printing educational books in 2025.
She noted that in 2020, only 120 million soms were allocated for these purposes, while in 2025, funding has significantly increased.
If in 2020 more than 330 thousand textbooks were printed, in 2025 this figure reached 4 million 85 thousand 450 copies.
As of today, the level of textbook provision in schools is 84.8 percent.
Jusupbekova also shared information that from 2017 to 2024, over 3 million textbooks were published, while in 2025 alone, 4 million 85 thousand 450 educational materials were issued.
The issue of preventing violence in educational institutions was also raised by the deputy minister. She mentioned that anonymous boxes for appeals had been established earlier, but over time there was a need to modernize this approach.
“We have implemented a new format: the application ‘Don’t be afraid, report’ has been added to the ‘E-Kündölük’ system. To date, more than 25 thousand appeals have been received. The main goal of this application is to prevent violence. Thanks to a number of reports, it has been possible to prevent offenses, and positive results have been achieved in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” she added.
