The deputy believes that the video portrays him as someone who does not follow the law.
Erulan Kokulov, a deputy, spoke about recent incidents related to his personal life on his social media page.
He noted that although he could have immediately refuted the information that arose after the public outcry, he decided to wait for the situation to develop.
“Everywhere I go, I hear mockery and jabs. Did you see this video? It creates the impression that I caused a scandal over an administrative protocol. That is not true. I am ready to confirm the authenticity of this video,” he commented.
Kokulov also expressed regret that none of those around him, including journalists, attempted to learn his version of events.
“Even the journalists. According to the law, they are required to provide the opinion of both sides. You did not do that,” the deputy emphasized.
Additionally, he mentioned that trash was thrown into his car.
“This is how far it has come. Yes, I violated traffic rules, I admit that. Unfortunately, the circumstances turned out this way. The video shows that the violation occurred around 19:00, and the inspectors only arrived at 23:00. This time already pertains to my personal life,” he added.
Kokulov also addressed the inspector of the Bishkek City UPMI, Nadir Jusupbekov, who drew up the protocol in this case.
“I asked you for just one thing. Nadir, I didn't think you would post this video online. I sincerely trusted you and considered you a conscientious inspector who upholds the law. I have never been against your work. But I politely asked: let’s act within the law and during working hours. Why did you come to me at 23:00 and make a fool of me in front of my neighbors?”
In his opinion, the inspectors edited parts of the video to present him as someone who does not follow the law.
