As part of the national campaign "Zhasyl Muras," active tree planting continues in Kyrgyzstan. According to local authorities, to date, 3 million 820 thousand 663 seedlings have been planted, covering an area of 3 thousand 250.6 hectares.

Moreover, timely watering and protection are being provided for the already planted trees.

In 2025, during this campaign, 8 million 239 thousand 915 seedlings were planted over an area of 6 thousand 420 hectares, with a survival rate of 74.5 percent.

Among the types of trees being planted are poplar, willow, birch, oak, walnut, pistachio, almond, apple, apricot, Tien Shan spruce, pine, juniper, mulberry, and others.

For 2026, the planting of 9 million trees is planned, which should contribute to improving the ecological situation and increasing green spaces in the country.
