Elnura Kassenova, a mother of four sons from the village of Chyrak, located in the Jeti-Oguz district of the Issyk-Kul region, once dreamed of a career as a singer but chose the path of a teacher.

Local residents note that Elnura is an example of a modern educator who effectively combines traditional values, family foundations, and modern digital technologies.

She was born on April 11, 1988, in the village of Taldy-Suu, in the Tyup district of the Issyk-Kul region. She grew up in a family of civil servants: her father worked as an ambulance driver for over 40 years, and her mother is still the head nurse.

After graduating from Mukai Elebaev School in 2005, Elnura went to Bishkek with the dream of becoming a singer. However, a close relative advised her to choose the profession of a teacher: “Why do you want to be a singer? Become a teacher. If you get married in the village, it will be the most respected profession,” Elnura recalls.

Getting into Bishkek Humanities University (BHU) was not easy. The heat and unfamiliar city transport almost made her give up her studies, but upon reaching the philological faculty, she decided, “I will study here,” and thus began her career as a teacher of the Kyrgyz language and literature.

Elnura's personal life developed rapidly: after her first year, she met her husband, and soon after, the young family moved to the village of Chyrak, where Elnura began working at Talyp Akun School while still a third-year student.

As of today, she has 16 years of work experience. She not only teaches children but also performs the functions of a social educator, paying attention to each student.

Elnura actively incorporates interactive lessons, media technologies, and her own speed reading course "Bilimgе sapar" for elementary grades into the educational process.

Among her achievements are winning the "Digital Teacher" course, which earned her a trip to Tashkent, as well as honorary certificates from the Congress of Women for an essay on national values and the title of "Teacher Blogger," along with awards from the "Zээндүү muгалим" Olympiad in 2025.

The results of her work are evident in her students' successes: about 70% of graduates enroll in budget places at universities, including those who scored 189 and 169 points on the ORT.

She takes pride in the creative successes of her students, among whom two were admitted to the acting faculty of the B. Beishenaliev Arts University, and one became a student at the M. Kurенкеев Music College.

As the coordinator of the "Digital Academy" in her district, Elnura organizes book competitions, the winners of which can travel to Almaty.

She also manages the school's social media page, engages in video editing, and enjoys singing and dancing. Remarkably, Elnura uses her summer time for self-development, working as a cook in Bulgaria, which, according to her, helps her broaden her horizons and gain new experiences.

Family is her main support. Together with her husband, they are raising four sons: the eldest, Erjan, is in his first year of university, while the other three are schoolchildren.

Elnura wants rural teachers and children to have more opportunities for experience exchange abroad. “There are many talented children in the villages. Our task is to guide them correctly. My sons also aspire to the arts: one wants to be like Bolot Minzhilkiyev, the other like Kerim Turapov. Seeing children realize dreams that were once mine is my greatest happiness,” she says.
