Deputy Saltanat Amanova emphasized that in the past, salary levels at the university were considered higher, but currently, according to her, there are complaints about their reduction.
Rector of the institution Sergey Volkov stated that by the end of 2024, the salary base for employees will be increased threefold. Thus, the minimum salary will be 28,000 soms, while professors will receive approximately 60,000 soms, and department heads will earn around 70,000 soms.
He also added that this year, employee salaries will be raised taking inflation into account.
In addition, the committee is considering a draft law on the construction of a new campus for the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on a site of about 30 hectares in the Baytik rural district of the Alamudun region in the Chui province.
