30 hectares have been allocated for the new project
A new campus of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) is planned to be created on the outskirts of Bishkek. This was announced by Sergey Volkov, the rector of the educational institution.
For the implementation of this project, 30 hectares of land have been allocated in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Currently, the project is undergoing the ratification process in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The Kyrgyz side will need to resolve issues related to the registration of land plots and the connection of necessary engineering communications. The financing of the construction will be undertaken by the Russian side.
The project will be implemented in stages: the first stage is planned for 2026–2028, the second for 2028–2030, and the third stage from 2030 to 2032.
