Starting from January 1, 2026, all non-alcoholic beverages recognized as children's food will be subject to excise tax and must have excise stamps.

The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reminds that according to the government decree introduced in 2022, such labeling is mandatory for non-alcoholic beverages registered as children's food and classified under the customs code 2202.

It is prohibited to produce and import such goods without excise stamps from the specified date.

Additionally, until May 1, 2026, the sale of only those stocks of children's food that were not labeled is permitted.

The State Tax Service strongly recommends that all participants in the production and trade chain in the field of children's food comply with the requirements of tax legislation. Otherwise, in the event of unmarked products being discovered, appropriate measures will be taken against the violators.
