The human rights defender shared the results of the court session
The Lenin District Court in Bishkek decided to change the preventive measure for journalist Mahabat Tajibek kyzy to a written undertaking not to leave, which led to her release. This was reported by human rights defender Gulshaiyr Abdirasulova.
It should be reminded that Mahabat Tajibek kyzy, who is the head of the Temirov LIVE project, was detained in January 2024 and sentenced to six years in prison on charges of inciting mass riots.
The case has been sent for review to the Supreme Court.
