According to the information from the ministry, the project includes the creation of a four-lane road. The work is being carried out with simultaneous design and construction, and funding is provided through state capital investments.
Currently, earthworks are being performed, excess soil is being removed, and the dismantling and preparation of reinforced concrete structures is underway. There are also plans to install an asphalt concrete plant near the construction site.
To ensure the timely completion of the project, a contract has been signed with the contractor — China Road and Bridge Corporation.
The Ministry noted that the implementation of this project will help reduce the transportation load in Cholpon-Ata, improve the road infrastructure of the region, and ensure a high level of hosting international events.
