Issyk-Kul topped the list of desired destinations.
“I would really like to see Lake Issyk-Kul. They say it’s simply stunning,” shares one resident of Tajikistan.
Another survey participant noted: “I was already in Bishkek for a conference, but unfortunately, I didn’t have time to get to Issyk-Kul. I really want to relax there, as I haven’t been on vacation for five years,” says a resident of Dushanbe.
Many Tajiks plan to combine their trips around Kyrgyzstan with evening walks in Bishkek.
“I would gladly stroll through the evening streets of Bishkek and definitely visit Issyk-Kul,” say the respondents.
“I was in Bishkek many years ago, and I only have positive impressions: the city is beautiful, green, and the people are very friendly. My father lived there for some time, and the connections between our families remain to this day,” add other respondents.
The residents of Tajikistan also recommend that Kyrgyz citizens visit the Hissar Fortress, Nurek Reservoir, and the alpine camp in Panjakent to enjoy the clean mountain air and solitude with nature.
“There you can disconnect from everything, walk in the mountains, and see true beauty,” say the locals, inviting Kyrgyz citizens to see it for themselves.
