In 2025, there was a limit that allowed teams to register "10 foreign players, of which 8 could take the field." However, in the new season, the rules are tightening: now "10 foreign players in the roster — 7 on the field." Additionally, there must be 4 players on the field with Kyrgyzstani passports. Players from EAEU countries, such as Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia, are not considered foreign players.
Premier League teams will be able to include up to 50 players in their roster, of which at least 15 must be under 21 years old.
