The International Wrestling Federation (UWW) has officially awarded the 2026 Asian Championship to Kyrgyzstan.

The competitions are scheduled for April 6-12 in the capital of the country, Bishkek.

In September 2025, UWW announced that the next Asian Championship would take place in Jordan.

In early December, UWW President Nenad Lalovic visited Bishkek, after which it became known that the rights to host the Asian Championship were transferred to Kyrgyzstan.

Currently, information about the 2026 Asian Championship is not available on the official UWW website.

Previously, Bishkek hosted the senior Asian Championships three times: in 2007, 2018, and 2024.
