The yacht Dynamite, representing Kyrgyzstan, confidently took the top spot in the IRC-2 division at the regatta in Malaysia, as confirmed by information on the official competition website.

According to participants, this event is considered one of the most significant in the world of sailing in Southeast Asia: this year, over 35 crews from various corners of the globe took part in the competition, including countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, China, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The crew under the Kyrgyz flag is participating in these races for the second time.

This year, the team registered the yacht Dynamite in the IRC-2 division. The races took place in the waters of the Langkawi archipelago, where participants faced challenging wind conditions and serious competition.

After ten races, including one long Coastal Race around the island, the "Dynamite" team managed to secure first place in their division. It is important to note that the team included three citizens of Kyrgyzstan: captain Maxim Lisun, helmsman Kirill Sakharcev, and Olga Shevtsova from "Forest Club." This event has become yet another proof that Kyrgyzstan is capable of successfully participating in international regattas and achieving victories.
