At the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in China on February 8, Nursultan Keneshbekov, a member of the Kyrgyzstan national team, took second place in the final race of the 1500 meters and received a silver medal.

His time of 3 minutes 44.75 seconds set a new national record for this distance. Previously, this record also belonged to him.

This achievement marked Nursultan's sixth record in the history of Kyrgyz athletics.
