The athlete covered a distance of 470-480 kilometers in 98 hours and 27 minutes. During the race, she had to cross five Himalayan passes and ascend to an altitude of over 8.5 kilometers.

“My goal was to finish the race in under 100 hours. In the end, I completed it in 98 hours and 27 minutes. The record was set and confirmed in 2023, but the certificate took a scenic route through delivery services and Indian customs to reach me. Now I finally have it,” Sufi wrote on her social media.

This high-altitude route in the Himalayas is considered one of the most difficult in the world for long distances due to extreme altitude, unpredictable weather conditions, and low oxygen levels.

Previously, Sufiya Sufi had already set a record by becoming the fastest woman to run the route from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, and she also successfully completed the Golden Quadrilateral Run, which spans over 6,000 kilometers.
