He noted that the next games will most likely take place outside of Kyrgyzstan. Currently, three or four countries have submitted their applications to host the event.
Adenov also shared information about the preparatory work for the World Nomad Games. There are about five months left until the event begins. In 2025, invitations were sent to 100 countries, of which around 50 have already confirmed their participation. It is expected that more than 90 countries will take part in the games.
The organizing committee is finalizing preparations. With the onset of the warm season, active work on infrastructure modernization will begin.
Traditionally, the key location will be the Kychyn area, where an ethnovillage will be created. Its concept has been updated and approved, with the opening scheduled for September 2.
As Nursultan Adenov clarified, no new venues for the games are planned — the existing infrastructure of the Issyk-Kul region will be used. Among the facilities are: the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata, the "Gazprom" sports and wellness complex, the "Rukh Ordo" cultural center, and the "Nomad" amphitheater in Bosteri.
A minor renovation is also planned for the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata.
