For Vladimir Putin's meeting, an honor guard of soldiers from the National Guard and other military personnel was lined up in front of the administrative building of the head of Kyrgyzstan.
Putin's car was accompanied by a cavalry of 40 horsemen. This new meeting protocol will be applied to all foreign guests who arrive on official visits.After greeting Putin, the national anthems of both countries were performed, and the presidents made an honorary round. Vladimir Putin greeted the guards with the phrase: "Саламатсынбы, аскер!" (Hello, soldier!).
The Kyrgyz delegation included: Azamat Osmonov, head of the decision implementation control department, Kanaybek Tumanbaev, chief of staff to the president, ambassador Kubanychbek Bokontayev, Melis Turgunbaev, chairman of the National Bank, as well as ministers: Ruslan Mukambetov (defense), Ulan Niyazaliev (internal affairs), Absattar Syrgabaev (transport and communications), Talaybek Ibraev (energy), Bakyt Sydykov (economy), Erkin Checheybaev (health), Bakhtiyar Orozov (science, higher education, and innovations), and Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva (education).
After the official photo session, the presidents moved to the hall for private negotiations.
