Composition of the Russian delegation that arrived in Kyrgyzstan

On November 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin began his official state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

The next day, on November 26, an official meeting between the leaders of the two countries will take place at the “Ынтымак Ордо” building, after which Russian-Kyrgyz negotiations will be held.

As reported by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov to the Lenta.ru agency, the agenda for the negotiations includes key issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.

In addition, the presidents will discuss current regional issues.

The expanded format of the negotiations will also address topics related to trade, energy, and migration.

The Russian delegation includes high-ranking officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, who heads the Russian side of the intergovernmental commission, as well as seven ministers, among them Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin, and Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev. The delegation also includes Central Bank Chair Elvira Nabiullina, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Mikhail Babich, Director of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev, and other representatives of federal authorities.

In addition to government officials, the delegation includes businessmen such as Roman Abramovich, head of Promsvyazbank Pyotr Fradkov, and General Director of "Russian Post" Mikhail Volkov.

At the end of the negotiations, the presidents will sign a joint statement reflecting the deepening of relations within the framework of alliance and strategic partnership.

During the visit, it is planned to sign several significant intergovernmental and commercial agreements.

In total, as Ushakov noted, seven documents have been prepared covering cooperation in the fields of education, economy, healthcare, migration, sanitary and epidemiological welfare, military-technical cooperation, as well as an agreement between the postal services of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
