Tash-Kumyr Electric Network Completes Preparation for the Autumn-Winter Period: New Power Lines Built

The Tash-Kumyr Electric Networks (RES) is completing preparatory activities for the autumn-winter season of 2025–2026. These actions are being carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Energy, the organization's press service reports.
Currently, 98% of the planned work for 2025 has been completed. As part of the preparations, a new overhead power line with a length of 10 km has been constructed. In particular, new lines with a length of 1.45 km have been laid in the city of Tash-Kumyr (Kyzyl-Alma village) and in the village of Kyzyl-Zhar in the Aksy district, which helped to address the issue of electricity shortages in these areas.
Additionally, an overhead line with a voltage of 6/10 kV, 8.45 km long, has been built in the villages of Zhilkol in the Aksy district, as well as in Intymak and Kyzyl-Tuu in the Nooken district. These measures were a response to the increased load on the electrical networks that occurred during the summer due to the operation of pumping stations for irrigation. Furthermore, repair work has been carried out on 3.8 km of overhead lines of 6/10–0.4 kV, a technical inspection of 323 km of power lines has been completed, and 205 transformers have undergone preventive maintenance and repairs.
In the village of Ters in the Aksy district, a new transformer with a capacity of 400 kVA has been installed, and in Tash-Kumyr, in the village of Kyzyl-Alma, a transformer with a capacity of 250 kVA has been installed.
The Tash-Kumyr RES provides electricity to areas such as the Uch-Korgon rural administration in the Aksy district, as well as the Burgondu and Dostuk rural administrations in the Nooken district, including the city of Tash-Kumyr and Shamaldy-Say. The company employs 87 people and continues its efforts to improve customer service quality and reduce electricity losses.
