Kyrgyzstan and India Confirmed Readiness for Comprehensive Development of Friendly Relations

Today, a meeting took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and the Ambassador of India to the country, Birender Singh Yadav.

According to information provided by the ministry, the discussion covered a wide range of issues related to Kyrgyz-Indian cooperation, with an emphasis on the positive dynamics in the development of strategic partnership.

The minister expressed satisfaction regarding the signing, which took place on November 17, of two memorandums of understanding concerning projects at the Center for General Medical Practice and the Kyrgyz Economic University named after M. Ryskulbekov, which marked an important step towards practical cooperation.

The ambassador, in turn, congratulated Kyrgyzstan on the successful conduct of parliamentary elections on November 30 and on the organization of major international events in Bishkek. He highly appreciated the reforms being implemented in the country.

The parties also discussed opportunities to increase mutual trade, based on the agreements reached during the 4th ministerial meeting of the "Central Asia - India" Dialogue, which took place on June 5-6 in New Delhi.

During the conversation, an important exchange of views was noted regarding the organization of high-level bilateral visits.
