Trump and Tokayev held talks in Washington, Kazakhstan and the USA signed deals worth over $17 billion

During the meeting, Tokayev thanked Trump for the invitation and the warm welcome extended to the Kazakh delegation.

The President of Kazakhstan emphasized the historical significance of Trump's presidency, noting that under his leadership, the U.S. is strengthening its position as a leading global economic, political, and technological power. Tokayev expressed support for Trump's initiatives, including the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP), which he believes can contribute to the development of the Middle Corridor.

Trump, for his part, confirmed the U.S. readiness to further strengthen the strategic partnership with Kazakhstan.

The leaders also noted the signing of a number of commercial agreements totaling over $17 billion during this visit.

During their conversation, they discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation and identified future directions for mutually beneficial interaction.

Current international issues were also discussed.

After the official part of the meeting, Trump and Tokayev continued their conversation in a more relaxed setting and viewed the construction of a new ballroom from the White House porch.
