Kyrgyzstan and Germany to Prepare Personnel for Tourism Development

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the President's Administration of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, held a meeting with Reinhard Kremmel, the Honorary Consul of the country in Bavaria and Thuringia, as well as the Deputy Co-Chairman of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council from the German side.

During the discussion, current issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany were addressed, including preparations for the upcoming business forum and the meeting of the Business Council scheduled for late November 2025 in Berlin.

Kasymaliev noted that bilateral economic relations are demonstrating positive dynamics. He emphasized the important role of Honorary Consuls in strengthening business ties, attracting investments, and developing entrepreneurship. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers also recalled the business forum in Cholpon-Ata, where memorandums were signed, opening new prospects for long-term projects.

The discussion of issues related to the training of professionals became an important part of the meeting. Participants highlighted the implementation of educational initiatives aimed at developing technical specialties and the service sector. The development of human capital and the training of specialists who meet the requirements of the German market were identified as priority areas for cooperation.

For his part, Reinhard Kremmel expressed gratitude for the productive dialogue and voiced confidence in the significant potential for expanding partnership not only in the fields of industry and education but also in tourism and hospitality. He added that Germany is ready to share its experience in creating sustainable tourist infrastructure and developing educational programs for training personnel in this area.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev thanked the Honorary Consul and members of the German side of the Business Council for their active participation in the economic dialogue, noting that Kyrgyzstan is open to international investments and is ready to support foreign partners.

According to Kasymaliev, the upcoming events in Berlin will give a new impetus to Kyrgyz-German cooperation and will be an important step towards strengthening mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.
