India will provide Kyrgyzstan with grant assistance of 126.6 million soms
Kyrgyzstan will receive grant assistance from India amounting to 126.6 million soms. This became possible due to the signing of two memorandums of cooperation, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

The first memorandum concerns the project to establish an IT Lab for the Kyrgyz Economic University (KEU) in Bishkek.

The second document aims to improve the technical base and infrastructure of the Center for General Medical Practice (CGMP) in the Leilek district of the Batken region.

Each of the projects will be funded in the amount of 126 million 600 thousand soms, which will allow for the development of educational and medical institutions in the country.

The signing of the memorandums on the Indian side was carried out by Ambassador Birender Singh Yadav. On the Kyrgyz side, the documents were signed by the Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov, the Minister of Science and Higher Education Baktiyar Orozov (for the IT Lab project for KEU), and the Deputy Representative of the President in the Batken region Zhanibek Isakov (for the CGMP project in the Leilek district).
