The story of Adina Samybek kyzy, who, despite difficulties, has achieved success in sports, is told by a correspondent from Turmush.

Adina, born with disabilities, actively participates in para athletics and dances in the "Tumar" group at the Kant Sports School. Her achievements in competitions inspire many. She also gained unique experience by volunteering in Germany for a year and a half thanks to a special project.

Adina was born in 1997 in the village of Bokonbaev, located in the Ton district of the Issyk-Kul region. She is the youngest of four children in her family, with two sisters and a brother. The loss of her father at the age of 15 was a heavy burden for her. Adina shares her feelings about her health: "I was born with a lower limb anomaly. Unfortunately, no surgeries or rehabilitation have yielded results. But I do not despair; everything is fine, thank God..."

When Adina was a child, her mother saw the rehabilitation center "Umут-Надежда" on television. "She was very worried about my future and sought ways to help. This center became a symbol of hope for us. We moved to the city so that I could study there. In the end, I graduated from the 'Umут-Надежда' school and achieved significant success," recalls Adina.

After school, Adina enrolled in a music and pedagogical college but quickly realized that the conditions for people with disabilities in Kyrgyzstan are extremely unfavorable. "Public transport and buildings lack the necessary conditions for our mobility. Without support, it is difficult for us to adapt to society. I hope the government pays attention to this problem," she says.

Later, with the help of the leadership of the "Umут-Надежда" school, Karla-Maria Shelike and Igor Ilyich, Adina went to Germany, where she worked in a kindergarten. "This experience had a huge impact on my life. I returned with new knowledge and friends," she shares.

After returning, Adina accidentally met coach Almaz at arm wrestling competitions. He suggested she try her hand at para-sports. "This offer was like a discovery for me. I was eager to find my place in life and become a source of pride for my mom," Adina recounts.

At the Kant Sports School, Adina met other para-athletes and learned about various sports. Over three years, she diligently trained in discus throw, shot put, and archery. She attends training sessions twice a week and practices at home. "Last year, I took third place in discus throw at the 'Marrakech 2024 World Para Athletics Grand Prix.' This year, I achieved second place in discus throw and third in shot put. In July, at the 'Olomouc 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix' in the Czech Republic, I again took third place in discus throw. I have many plans and goals, and I hope for even greater success. Sports are really important for health. I am grateful to my mother, to everyone who supported me, and of course, to Almaz agai, who opened the doors to the world of sports for me," emphasizes Adina.
