As reported by Turmush correspondent, 33-year-old horse breeder Syrgak uulu Izat from Talas wins 3 cars annually at horse races.

Izat was born and lives in the village of Uch-Emchek in the Talas region with his wife and two sons. He shares that both his grandfathers, on his father's and mother's side, were horse breeders, and people say it runs in his blood. Since childhood, he admired their racehorses, and after graduating from school in 2010, he constantly stayed close to renowned horse breeders, learning their secrets of horse care.

Currently, Izat takes care of racehorses named Kara Kyz and Karlygach. Kara Kyz has brought numerous awards from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and was recognized as the best racehorse of the past year. There is also a stallion named Baiterek, who received the title of best stallion for 2024. Izat shared some impressive achievements:

- In 2022, at a tournament in honor of the first secretary of the Communist Party of the Kazakh SSR, Dinmukhamed Kunayev, the racehorses won a car of the brand "KIA".

- In 2022, at a grand celebration in the Karkyra valley of the Tyup district in the Issyk-Kul region, they won a "Chery Karry" car from President Sadyr Japarov after Kara Kyz's victory in the races.

- Another car of the brand "Nissan" was won at a celebration in Korday. Thus, thanks to the racehorse Kara Kyz, three cars were won in a year.

In 2023, a series of victories followed, bringing two apartments:

- At the races in the Osh region, dedicated to the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan, Izat's racehorses came in first, receiving a one-bedroom apartment in the city of Osh as a prize.

- After that, at the celebration of the 230th anniversary of Khan Ormon in Kochkor, they won an apartment in Bishkek.

According to Izat, despite such valuable prizes, caring for racehorses is fraught with many difficulties. "You have to look after a horse like a child. We train for 2 hours a day, making them run. Once a week we ride for 5-6 hours over long distances. For feed, we mainly give oats and wheat. But I don’t ride them myself; I only take care of the horses and prepare them for tournaments. In competitions, nimble boys weighing 25-30 kg ride them. Every time a race starts, you think and worry about them, and of course, you want your horse to come in first. That’s my profession. I would like to teach my sons in the future if they are interested," he says.
