According to information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy, 50 high school students, their teachers, and a district inspector from the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department participated in the event.
During the visit, the young guests learned about the history of the Academy, its traditions, and combat achievements in the police force, as well as about Police General Ergash Aliyev, after whom the Academy is named, by visiting the institution's museum.
The students were also able to observe the training process of the cadets and their daily life. They visited an electronic shooting range, where instructors from the military and tactical-special training department demonstrated service weapons and their use in combating crime.
The forensic department presented a weapons museum to the students and discussed the specifics of forensic research.
The best cadets of the Academy accompanied the students throughout the excursion.
The curator of School No. 74, Police Colonel Cholpon Kadyrova, conducted a lecture for the students on the topic of "Countering Violence," timed to coincide with International Human Rights Day.
During the discussion, issues of legal responsibility, the value of human dignity, and the importance of an active civic position in preventing violence and offenses were discussed.
The excursion contributed to:
- the formation of a strong interest among students in the work of internal affairs bodies and professions in the field of national security;
- the increase of legal culture and civic responsibility among teenagers;
- the cultivation of patriotism and respect for the history and traditions of the Kyrgyz police.
