Director of the school in Talas fired for anti-social behavior of students

In Talas, the school principal and a police officer have been dismissed due to the antisocial behavior of students. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
On December 29, as part of preventive measures to prevent conflicts and offenses among schoolchildren, a meeting organized by the GKNB took place. It was attended by leaders of the regional and district administrations, law enforcement agencies, heads of education departments, as well as school principals from the Talas region.

GKNB specialists have initiated a preliminary investigation into the antisocial behavior of seventh-grade students, information about which spread on social media.
According to available data, the work of government agencies on preventing offenses among youth does not meet the necessary standards, and the requirements for moral and spiritual education are not being fulfilled.
In light of the identified problems, the GKNB has decided on the need to eliminate factors contributing to offenses committed by minors. This includes measures aimed at preventing repeat offenses and minimizing negative social consequences.
As a result of implementing this decision, the principal of secondary school No. 5 and the deputy head of the Talas Internal Affairs Department have been relieved of their positions. Additionally, the head of the city education department and a social educator have been held accountable, and reprimands have been issued to four internal affairs employees.
The minors involved in illegal activities have been placed on preventive registration, and their parents have been fined in accordance with the law.
The GKNB did not specify the details of the incident involving the schoolchildren.
During the meeting, the following important issues were also discussed:

— identifying adolescents prone to offenses;

— increasing the accountability of educational institution leaders;

— improving interaction between educational and law enforcement agencies;

— measures to prevent bullying, violence, and aggression in the educational environment;

— creating a safe and supportive educational atmosphere.
