The purpose of the meeting was to discuss measures to prevent conflicts and offenses among students of general educational institutions, as reported by the press service of the GKNB.
During the meeting, it was reported that the GKNB is conducting an investigation regarding "antisocial behavior of 7th-grade students," which became known through social media.
During the investigation, it was found that the work of government agencies on the prevention of offenses among minors is being carried out at an insufficient level, and the requirements for the moral and spiritual education of youth are not being met, as stated by GKNB representatives. In this regard, a resolution was issued to eliminate conditions that contribute to offenses among adolescents and their recurrence.
In accordance with this resolution, the principal of secondary school No. 5 and the deputy head of the Talas Internal Affairs Department were dismissed. The head of the Talas education department, the school social educator, and four employees of the internal affairs bodies received reprimands.
In addition, minors who committed illegal actions were placed on preventive registration, and their parents were fined in accordance with the law.At the same time, the GKNB does not disclose details of the incident itself.
During the discussion, relevant issues were also raised, such as early identification of adolescents prone to offenses, increasing the accountability of educational institution leaders, and the need to improve interaction between educational authorities and law enforcement agencies. Attention was also drawn to the prevention of bullying, violence, and aggressive behavior in schools, as well as the creation of a safe educational environment.
