220 schools equipped with educational and laboratory equipment for STEM classes

In 220 cluster schools, new educational and laboratory equipment for STEM disciplines (physics, chemistry, geography, biology), as well as information and communication technologies, have been installed to support practice-oriented and digital learning.

The press service of the Ministry of Education reports that the delivery of equipment was carried out as part of the state program "Altyn Kazyq," which aims to modernize the educational system in the country and implement modern technologies in the teaching of STEM disciplines in general education institutions.

The laboratory equipment is diverse and covers a wide range of educational tasks. Each educational institution received 25 sets designed for conducting laboratory and research work.

Thus, a total of 5,500 sets of laboratory equipment, as well as 220 interactive panels and the same number of laptops, were supplied to 220 schools.

The sets allow for experiments related to the laws of mechanics, electricity, optical phenomena, properties of liquids, chemical reactions, and biological research. The equipment provides accurate measurements, recording and analysis of experimental data, and helps students develop skills in scientific research and working with modern measurement systems.

Interactive panels and laptops are used to manage laboratory work, display experimental results in real-time, demonstrate digital models and simulations, as well as to process and store data from students' project and research activities.

The use of this equipment contributes to the development of subject knowledge, practical skills, digital literacy, and research thinking among schoolchildren, which, in turn, enhances the quality of teaching natural science disciplines.

Training events aimed at the effective use of educational, laboratory, and ICT equipment were organized for the teachers of these schools.

The Ministry of Education noted that these 220 schools are part of 53 innovative cluster educational institutions that serve as experimental sites for the implementation of new educational standards, modern technologies in the educational process, and the professional development of teachers.
