In Bishkek, the purchase of 30 interactive panels for schools is planned for 2026. This became known on February 6 during a meeting of the permanent commission on economy, budget, finance, and investments of the Bishkek City Council, as reported by the Director of the Department of Education, Rakhmat Musaev.

During this meeting, deputy Emir Marlisbekov from the "Emgek" party pointed out the discrepancy between the budget request and the approved project. He reported that the requested amount was 866 million 566 thousand soms, while the budget project only allocated 851 million 566 thousand soms. Vice Mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva clarified that the reduction specifically affected the purchase of interactive panels.

Initially, it was planned to purchase 100 interactive panels, but only 30 were ultimately approved. As V. Mozgacheva reported, the cost of one panel is 128 thousand soms. The Department of Education submitted a request for 30 panels for 2026 and asked to additionally purchase another 70.

Rakhmat Musaev noted that the interactive panels will be distributed to schools based on the submitted requests. When asked about the distribution of panels by districts, she promised to provide information later.

Additionally, deputy E. Marlisbekov emphasized the need to provide schools in the Oktyabrsky district with interactive boards, urging to include the purchase of an additional 70 panels in the budget.

He also proposed to introduce a course on traffic rules into the curriculum for 10th and 11th-grade students. Vice Mayor Mozgacheva responded that, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, driver education for graduating classes is already included in the general education program.
