Kyrgyz Hydrometeorological Service informs that avalanches may occur on the following sections of the highways:
- on the 121-138 km of the Bishkek—Osh road (Töö-Ashuu pass) and on the 198-255 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- on the 65-110 km of the Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya route;
- on the 0-3 km of the Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash road;
- on the 65-110 km of the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alaikuu highway;
- on the 45-90 km of the Karakol—Enilchek route (Chong-Ashuu pass).
When traveling through avalanche-prone areas, drivers are strongly advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
