Avalanche-prone sections on the roads include the following directions:
- sections from 121 to 138 km on the Bishkek—Osh road (Töö-Ashuu pass) and from 198 to 265 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- from 45 to 112 km on the Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya road (Chapchyma pass);
- from 0 to 3 km on the Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash road;
- sections from 55 to 115 km on the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alayku road;
- from 97 to 98 km on the Sary-Tash—Darooot-Korgon—Karamyk route;
- from 292 to 305 km on the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart road (Dolon pass);
- from 1 to 14 km on the Aral—Min-Kush road;
- from 8 to 21 km on the Aral—Suusamyr route;
- sections from 201 to 205, 260 to 290, and 326 to 249 km on the Balikchy—Kazarmin—Jalal-Abad road (Kok-Art pass);
- from 45 to 90 km on the Karakol—Enilchek road (Chong-Ashuu pass).
When traveling through avalanche-prone areas, it is extremely important to maintain a safe distance of 500 meters between vehicles.
