In the fields of the Suzak District, the autumn sowing campaign has begun, and as an example for local farmers, the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev visited the "Ala Too Azygy" farm. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.
During the visit, the minister emphasized the importance of demonstration sowing works for farmers to showcase effective agricultural practices.
Local farmers noted that the correct choice of land plot and soil analysis are the main factors for achieving high yields. Studying the content of macro and microelements in the soil allows for effective fertilization and optimal plant development.
Experts emphasize that autumn sowing contributes to more stable growth of crops even at low temperatures, and generally, the yield of autumn sowing is higher than that of spring sowing.
The winter wheat used for sowing is domestic and adapted to local climatic conditions. The seed purity is 99%, and farmers are provided with first reproduction seeds (C1), which are characterized by high yield and resistance to climate change.
Also participating in the event was Bakyt Mambekov, the director of the department for the development of agricultural crops.
