In Kyrgyzstan, there is an active growth in the field of fish farming, especially concerning trout. The increase in demand in the domestic market and the emergence of new farms contribute to the development of this industry.

According to experts, the price of trout in the country depends on various factors, such as regional conditions, logistics, and the weight of the fish. The growth of consumption within the country serves as an incentive for the creation of new farms, which in turn leads to an increase in production volumes and stabilization of market prices.

One of the striking examples of successful development in this area is the agricultural cooperative "Spartak Trout," located in Tokmok. This cooperative has been engaged in fish breeding since its inception from eggs: when the trout reaches a weight of 200-300 grams, part of it is sold to other farms for breeding, while fish weighing over 1.5 kg are sent to the market.

The annual production volume of the cooperative is 20 tons of marketable trout. "Spartak Trout" is exclusively focused on the domestic market, where it supplies its products. It is important to note that currently, domestic consumption of trout in Kyrgyzstan varies from 5 to 10 tons per year.
