The use of fish traps and seines is intended to assist both natural and artificial fish breeding.
Their use is aimed at maintaining and increasing fish populations.Seines are structures made of metal, reinforced concrete, or wooden beams that are used in hydraulic structures to manage water flow.
As noted in the report, the construction of a fishing barrier (fish trap) has been completed. Currently, work is being carried out based on it to obtain roe and artificially breed trout from Issyk-Kul.
These activities are conducted in accordance with ecological and biological standards aimed at maintaining sustainable fish stocks, the ministry reports.
