The Eurasian Economic Commission has announced its intention to improve the provisions of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.

This decision was made during a meeting of the consolidated working group chaired by the Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC, Daniyar Imanaliev.

During the meeting, proposed changes and additions to the Treaty were reviewed, concerning the procedure for accounting, distribution, and transfer of revenues from import customs duties, as well as non-tariff regulation measures for goods coming from third countries. Additionally, mechanisms for the calculation and distribution of special, anti-dumping, and compensatory duties were discussed.

Work also continued on the draft protocol for amendments to the Treaty on the EAEU, known as the V Large Protocol. The public discussion of this draft within the framework of the regulatory impact assessment procedure has already been completed.
