In the next five years, Gazprom plans to significantly increase the volume of gas supplies to Central Asia, expecting more than a twofold growth. In light of reduced supplies to Europe, the company is seeking alternative markets to redirect its volumes, as reported by the publication Vedomosti, citing analytical data from Gazprombank.

It is expected that the volume of supplies will reach 19-20 billion cubic meters.

By 2030, Gazprom's gas exports to countries such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan could increase by 2.1-2.2 times, primarily driven by a rise in imports to Uzbekistan—from 3 billion to 12 billion cubic meters. This country is experiencing a decline in domestic gas production.

The situation with supplies to Kazakhstan remains uncertain. While there are doubts in China regarding the gas pipeline project from Russia through Kazakhstan, Astana hopes for its implementation. This pipeline could lead to the gasification of the northeast of the country and provide an additional 10 billion cubic meters of gas per year.

It is worth noting that due to sanctions, Gazprom has reduced exports to Europe by about five times. However, even with the launch of the Power of Siberia 2 project, the company will not be able to redirect all gas volumes to China.
