
An unscheduled inspection of the "Ak-Tilek" and "Kant" customs posts took place during the winter holidays.
Goods that do not meet the standards of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will not be allowed into Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
During the New Year holidays, the head of the department, Maksat Kochev, conducted an unscheduled inspection of the phytosanitary control points "Ak-Tilek" and the "Kant" customs terminal located at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.
During the inspection, attention was focused on compliance with phytosanitary norms and the tightening of measures regarding the return, destruction, or disinfection of agricultural products of plant origin that are imported into the country.
