
According to information provided by the Chairman of the National Statistics Committee, Baktybek Kudaybergenov, from January to December 2025, the increase in consumer prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan was 9.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The largest increase was observed in tariffs for services provided to the population, which rose by 11.2%. Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 9.9%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products rose by 8%, while non-food goods became 7.8% more expensive.
December 2025 also showed an overall increase in consumer prices and tariffs across all regions of the country. The most significant increase was observed in the city of Osh, where the growth was 11.6%. This increase is associated with a rise in prices for non-food goods by 12% and an increase in tariffs for services to the population by 13.5%.
The most noticeable rise in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages was recorded in the Chui region — 13.1%. In the Issyk-Kul region, the maximum increase in prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products was recorded at 14.4%.
