At the "V5+1" forum, the U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Ambassador Sergio Gore, confirmed the United States' support for business and peace in Central Asia.

According to him, U.S. President Donald Trump is committed to peace and prosperity for all countries in the region, emphasizing the importance of trade development.

Gore reminded of the significance of the historic summit that Trump organized for Armenia and Azerbaijan, highlighting that it marked the beginning of the "Trump Route" — a corridor promoting economic connections between Central Asia and the South Caucasus, as well as with the West and the East. "This is an important step towards creating interconnected economies and maintaining peace in the region," he noted.

The Special Envoy added that this historic summit took place on November 6, 2025, in Washington.

"The main idea is that this is not a one-time meeting. Trump expressed a desire to spend more time with the presidents of Central Asia and actively engage them in various aspects of the U.S. global agenda. An example is the participation of some leaders in the Council of Peace, as well as their invitation to the G20 agenda as observers," Gore emphasized.

He also noted that the level of cooperation with Central Asia has reached unprecedented heights.

"The U.S. will continue to support business and strengthen peace by developing relationships with partners around the world. The V5+1 forum has become a logical continuation of the 'C5+1', and we have already concluded over 20 deals worth more than $40 billion," he added.
