The Chui Chamber Orchestra brilliantly represented Kyrgyzstan at the II International Music Festival "Golden Autumn," which took place in Tashkent from November 3 to 10. According to information from the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan, the musicians performed in the Grand Hall of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, as well as in the concert hall of the R. M. Glière Music School.
Their repertoire included works by world-renowned composers as well as pieces by Kyrgyz authors, including Muratbek Begaliev, Kalyi Moldobasanov, Seidaly Medetov, Balasagyn Musaev, and Toktogul Satylganov.
Among the participants were also soloists from the Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theater, such as Ayana Bekenova and Elgiz Beyshenbaev. The piece "Tуулган жерди сагынуу" by Kerim Turapov particularly stood out, generating great interest among the audience.
As part of the festival, the orchestra organized master classes and discussed with the leadership of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan the possibilities for future joint projects in the field of music.
The gala concert, which took place at the "Turkiston" Palace of Arts, became a bright finale of the festival, strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
