By disabling automatic translation of publications in Hebrew, platform X cited the risk of distorting context; however, users expressed doubts about the true reason. Many believe this may be an attempt to hide posts that call for violence and genocide, which are often found among Israeli bloggers and politicians.

According to the publication "Israel Hayom," platform X has indeed limited automatic translation of posts in Hebrew. Meanwhile, the built-in neural network Grok explained to users that the disabling of the feature is related to the "risk of context distortion" in conditions of heightened tension, although there has been no official comment from the company.
It should be noted that the disabling only concerns automatic translation, which was previously available in the news feed. The "Show Translation" button is still active, and users can manually translate messages in Hebrew. Grok claims that this decision is aimed at preventing provocative interpretations and rule violations arising from inaccurate machine translation.

When addressing the bot, the platform confirmed that the restrictions apply only to Hebrew and are part of the official policy. Similar measures for other languages are not planned.

Due to a lack of clear explanations, suspicions arose on social media: users began to suggest that the disabling of features might be an attempt to mask posts containing calls for violence and genocidal slogans, as well as justifications for the actions of the Israeli army.

Discussions also mention examples where Israeli bloggers, journalists, and politicians openly supported strikes against Palestinians, and it is precisely such posts that are now harder to translate and disseminate.
