Famous entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk has announced his intention to rename the Grokipedia platform as soon as it reaches the necessary quality level, reports the Kazinform agency.
“As soon as Grokipedia becomes sufficiently high-quality, we will change its name to Encyclopedia Galactica,” Musk wrote in his post on X.
This platform, which was created as an alternative to Wikipedia, launched with 885,279 articles generated using the AI Grok. All entries undergo a "fact-checking" process, and users can only make suggestions for improving the content.
“We will create an open source that will condense all knowledge, including audio, images, and video,” Musk added, urging users to collaborate in creating a science fiction version of the Library of Alexandria.
