On November 18, users in Kyrgyzstan and around the world experienced disruptions in internet access and various online services, including the site Kaktus.media.

Many subscribers complained about issues accessing different services. Affected platforms included Spotify, X, and Epic Games. According to the Cloudflare status page, scheduled maintenance was taking place at several of the company's data centers in the USA and other countries, which led to some traffic being redirected through other network nodes. This, in turn, caused slowdowns for some users.

Cloudflare also confirmed a significant outage caused by an "unusual surge in traffic," which impacted a large part of its infrastructure and resulted in widespread errors when loading websites using its solutions. The company's engineers were working on fixes and gradually restoring service functionality.

Later, Cloudflare's administration reported that issues also arose with one of its external providers, who was assessing the situation and working on a resolution. At the time of preparing this material, most services had already resumed operation, although the aftermath of the outage was still being addressed.

Throughout the day on November 18, residents of Kyrgyzstan noted a sharp decrease in internet speed, both via cable and mobile networks. This also affected the operation of information services such as "Tunduk," "Salyk Service," and banking applications. Users reported that the site Kaktus.media occasionally failed to load or was significantly delayed. Representatives of mobile operators claimed that there were no issues on their end, while the technical support of the State Enterprise "Salyk Service" explained that connection problems might have arisen on the partners' side.
