According to information, the United States supports Turkey's participation in the International Stabilization Forces, which were formed after Ankara, together with Egypt and Qatar, played a key role in the ceasefire in Gaza last month. It is expected that both combat and engineering units will be involved in the deployment.
However, Turkey hopes that the U.S. can guarantee the cessation of Israel's military operations in Gaza before the full deployment of international forces. Turkish officials emphasize that the majority of potential contingent participants are Muslims.
