The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan expressed its position regarding the conflict in Gaza.
In its statement, the Ministry noted: “We welcome the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 2803 (2025) concerning the Comprehensive Plan for Ceasing the Conflict in Gaza. We highly appreciate the efforts of the United States and President Donald Trump, as well as all countries that made significant contributions to achieving this ceasefire agreement.”
As emphasized by the Ministry, the approval of the resolution is an important step towards de-escalation, restoring trust between the conflicting parties, and achieving sustainable peace in the Middle East region.
Furthermore, the Ministry added that Kazakhstan supports a peaceful and comprehensive solution to the Middle Eastern issue based on the UN Charter and international humanitarian law, as well as the formula of “two states for two peoples,” which implies the creation of an independent and viable State of Palestine.
The Ministry also noted that within the framework of the Abraham Accords, Kazakhstan is ready for constructive cooperation with all partners and mediators, as well as active participation in international efforts to stabilize the situation, provide humanitarian support, and create conditions for long-term political dialogue.
It is worth noting that earlier, President Donald Trump announced that Kazakhstan would be the first country to join the Abraham Accords during his second presidential term.
