
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of casualties from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since the evening of October 28 has risen to 104 people, including 46 children and 20 women. There have also been 253 injuries among Palestinians recorded.
The Israeli army (IDF) has expressed its intention to return to adhering to the ceasefire after a series of airstrikes, which they deemed necessary to eliminate terrorists in Gaza. The IDF statement emphasizes that the strikes were a response to actions by the Palestinian group Hamas.
“The Israeli army will continue to adhere to the ceasefire agreement and will respond decisively to any violations,” the official IDF statement noted.
Yesterday, The Times of Israel reported that Hamas opened fire on Israeli soldiers in the Rafah area in southern Gaza. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered powerful strikes on the Gaza Strip.
