Dear Kyrgyz citizens!
The elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the VIII convocation took place on November 30. I want to emphasize that the entire procedure was organized openly and in accordance with the law.
There was no use of administrative resources in favor of any candidates during the elections; on the contrary, we insisted on the complete absence of interference from public officials in the campaigning.
For the first time, a remote voting system was implemented, allowing every voter to participate in the elections.
The voting ended at 20:00, and preliminary results were announced at 20:01. The entire process was monitored in real-time with public involvement, which contributed to its transparency.
However, despite the measures taken to ensure the integrity of the elections, we cannot ignore the incoming reports and video recordings of vote buying and other violations related to some candidates. This information is actively spreading on social media, and many of them have already been forwarded to the Central Election Commission and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We are also promptly gathering information from open sources, and the commission will immediately begin verifying these facts.
We hear your calls for action that are resonating on social media, and we understand your concerns. The Central Election Commission will carefully review all submitted materials.
In the next two to three days, we will analyze all violations at the polling stations, including the 13th district, and make decisions in accordance with the law.
Our main priority is to make fair and justified decisions to maintain trust in the electoral system and protect the reputation of the state. We urge you to remain calm and not to make hasty conclusions until the verification is complete.
